Strip production

Strip can be made in practically any required width — from about 30 mm upwards — provided the thickness of the source metal is within the equipment's capabilities (usually up to 3 mm).

Strip is cut from steel coils supplied by the company or by the customer: these can be hot-rolled or cold-rolled coils of the required steel grade (e.g., St3 or 08).

Strip is produced on a coil slitting line equipped with a set of circular knives, which quickly and accurately cuts the metal into bands of the specified width.

Lead time depends on the order volume: small lots can be cut within 3–14 days, larger volumes within agreed timeframes (usually a few days) depending on production workload.

To order the service, provide a specification (steel grade, thickness, required strip width and batch volume) and sign a contract with Hillary Assets in Kazakhstan LLP. The price is calculated individually based on the cut length and scope of work.
