Hillary Assets in Kazakhstan LLP was founded in 2001. Its main business was the wholesale of rolled steel
and building materials.

“Reaching the top together”

The company started with a staff of 7. It grew step by step, and with it came new ideas and new lines of business. In 2007, the Hillary office centre with a small hotel and a café for visiting business travellers opened in Temirtau, right next to the Qarmet steel plant. In 2011, after studying the needs of the Kazakhstan market, the company’s management decided to set up its own production of rolled steel products. In 2013, the production of profile pipes started, first in Almaty and then in Temirtau.

Today Hillary Assets in Kazakhstan LLP runs two active production and trading sites in Temirtau and Almaty.
In particular, 2 slitting lines produce cold-rolled and hot-rolled strip, 1 cut-to-length line cuts hot-rolled coils into sheets, and 3 pipe mills produce profile and round pipes of various types and sizes.
