About the product
Cold-rolled steel in coils.
Cold-rolled steel is steel rolled below its recrystallization temperature. This method increases the strength and hardness of the product and also reduces its ductility. Besides improving mechanical properties, cold rolling allows better control over the shape and dimensions of the finished product.
Cold-rolled steel shows better surface and dimensional characteristics. That is why it is used when precision and appearance matter. However, due to the additional processing, cold-rolled steel is more expensive.
In addition, cold-rolled steel exhibits improved physical properties. As a rule, cold-rolled steel is harder and stronger. Its resistance to deformation and fracture under tension also increases.
Cold-rolled steel is in demand wherever precise dimensions and a flat surface are important. It is used to produce cold-rolled steel sheet and cold-rolled strip for critical parts, thin-walled profiles and elements with a decorative finish.
Available for delivery:
— hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel sheet for welded structures and cladding;
— cold-rolled strip for bending, stamping and further roll forming.
We produce strip of the required width from coiled steel on a slitting line. Our strip production service is available for hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel.
We deliver directly in wagon-load lots from leading steel mills in Kazakhstan and Russia.
Products are also available from stock at our warehouse in Temirtau.
